Postal locations & maps

Two 1881 documents preserve the office application, originally headed St. Joe, and an unused companion diagram. The application identifies the proposed name Etam, estimates a village population of 90 and a service population of 300, and places the site in relation to Rowlesburg, St. George, Fellowsville, Cheat River, and Buffalo Creek.
