Preston Mining and Manufacturing Company incorporated
The Virginia General Assembly passed an act which incorporated the Preston Mining and Manufacturing Company by H. R. Roby and unnamed stockholders. The company's purpose was to mine and manufacture iron and steel and other minerals in Preston County.
