Franklin Iron and Coal Company incorporated
The Franklin Iron and Coal Company was incorporated in West Virginia by the following: George Hardman as attorney for Nancy Hardman of Preston County; R. Richason Walker of Brooklyn, NY; John W. Jenkins, William Prescott Smith of Baltimore; and Samuel P. Hildreth of Wheeling. The company's main office was at Franklin Iron Works in Preston County.
