What the evidence establishes
West Virginia Land Trust identifies 1912 as the construction year and names the Canton Bridge Company. The sheet presents state-submitted federal inventory data in a format prepared by HistoricBridges.org; it is not an original construction contract. The exact opening date, original cost, and commissioning authority have not yet been established.
